Sugar Ray Robinson Vintage Boxing Poster
A Vintage Site poster from June 10th, 1951
for one of the best pound 4 pound fighters ever. This was
part of the Sugar Ray Robinson European tour that would
eventually culminate in his loss to Randolph Turpin. This
contest against Jan De Bruin at Palais des Sports, Antwerp,
Belgium one of seven fight Sugar Ray Robinson had in a little
over six weeks! Sugar Ray Robinson won this contest by TKO
in Round 8. The poster is showing some age as you would
expect for a boxing poster over 50 years of age, mounted
to a backing board, it measures approx. 29x43 inches and
has vibrant colours. This poster was taken from display
at the actual venue. Rare Boxing Posters such as this rarely
become available and this is the first one I have seen from
this contest!
