Julio Cesar Chavez is a Mexican Boxing Legend,
but when you consider that he didn't even loose until his
90th bout, the picture becomes clearer.
Chavez used his tremendous chin, fast hands,
clean skills, & mammoth heart to gain world titles at
junior-lightweight, lightweight, & junior-welterweight
- but also rode his luck on occasion, as demonstrated by
his highly contravertially picking up a draw against Pernell
Whitaker in their 1993 clash.
Although beaten on occasion during his decline,
Chavez's dignity has remained intact since his victors were
none other than the likes of Oscar De La Hoya (twice) &
Kostya Tszyu!
