A VERY RARE SITE POSTER
Muhammad Ali v Mac Foster April,
1972.
Only 1 other poster known
to exist!

Rare items of Muhammad Ali Boxing Memorabilia such as this
piece, represent an ideal investment opportunity. This rare
boxing poster has been framed and is part of my own personal
collection.
The poster features an illustration
of Ali shouting the words Black Power in Japanese. Size28x20
in. The poster that sold for the highest price in the Christie's
Paloger collection auction in Los Angeles back in 1997.
Small piece missing from bottom right hand corner (where
it was probably stuck to the wall). The signature comes
with Online Authentics with the hologram stuck on the back
off this rare vintage poster so as not to effect the image.
In the first major prize fight
to be held in Asia, former champion Muhammad Ali seemed
far off his game with lightly regarded Mac Foster. Ali weighed
in at 226 pounds, the heaviest he had scaled in the ring.
For fifteen laborous rounds the bout dragged on. Ali winning
easily but dissapointingly. Most in the press doubted he
would ever regain the form needed to regain the heavyweight
title
