Muhammad Ali vs Chuvalo
2 Boxing Poster
As Ali struggled to regain his pre-forced
retirement form, the rhetoric seemed to be turning as ugly
as the performance. When it was over, Ali had clearing won.
George Chuvalo had refused to go down, and although Ali
failed to "split his head like a melon', as Drew Brown
exorted. Chuvalo did sustain a nasty cut on his forehead.
Afterward, Chuvalo told the press he enjoyed the fight.
George was always a warrior.

"...split his head like a melon."
